Wineries Santa Maria La Palma

The wines of the Santa Maria La Palma winery are a celebration of the grapes that have been part of the Sardinian landscape since ancient times.

The company's goal is to express the terroir of the Alghero DOC in all possible ways: by selecting specific harvests for specific types of grapes, whether they are single-varietal or blended wines.

Soft, medium-bodied reds with vibrant fruits and spices, mixing with hints of plum and hints of cranberry are produced. As well as white berry Vermentino with its lively acidity and mineral citrus fruits with notes of green apple and slight hints of almond.

And somehow, along with the addition of some international varieties like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, they are able to create a solid line of over 20 wine styles having each its own personality.

They also make Akenta sparkling wine, aged in the depths of the sea at Capo Caccia.

Tastings & Wine tours at the Leda' d'ittiri wine resort

Discovering some of the most typical flavors of our island: oil, wines, cured meats, cheeses, olives, bread, all coming from small local productions, to be tasted accompanied by the expert explanations of a landlady with a passionate soul, Antonella, an accomplished oil taster and sommelier.

At the Ledà d'Ittiri Wine Resort, an ancient farmhouse immersed in the greenery of an 18-hectare estate, you can enjoy a truly engaging food and wine experience, where it will be easy to delve into the origins and production systems of these foods live.

In fact, the tasting can be preceded by a guided tour (lasting approximately 45 minutes on foot, minimum 8 participants) among the rows of vineyards and olive groves within the farm adjacent to the structure.

The tour, available in both Italian and English, also offers the opportunity to enjoy the quiet and scents of the countryside; upon returning from the walk, nothing is more pleasant than meeting together in front of the tables set in the large rustic room to take part in the guided tasting with attentive participation.

If you want to follow the tastings with a purchase of these products, you can do so in the adjoining company shop.

Here you can find a unique setting, hospitality and professionalism to get to know and savor some of Sardinia's excellent products, immersed in the relaxation and rural magic of the Resort.

It is possible to visit many other wineries where the wines of our territory are born.

Thanks to its position, the Bonsai b&b is a strategic starting point for exploring the wineries of the Coral Riviera.

A unique opportunity to learn the secrets of Sardinian wines and, why not, to buy a few bottles to take home.
